What are bioidentical hormones?
Bioidentical means biologically identical to the hormones produced by your body.
Most prescription hormones used in medicine are patented as similar drugs but not bioidentical molecules. We prefer to prescribe the hormone molecularly identical to the one your body makes rather than other prescriptions whenever possible to prevent potentially harmful side effects.
Bioidentical hormones fit perfectly into the receptor sites in your body’s cells without causing undesirable side effects. Such side effects were discovered with the medications used in the Women’s Health Initiative study in 2002.
Why bioidentical hormones may be a healthy option for you

The prudent use of bioidentical hormones can heal many conditions that arise from hormone deficiency including anxiety and depression, poor cognitive function and bone loss.
